A: I’m assuming it’s the V6 engine?
if it is then you will find the spark plugs on the side if the engine.
If you start off looking at the cap where you normally top up the oil on the engine, and then look below it at the side of the engine, not the front. You will see a thick wire going to a rubber cap on the engine, pull off that cap, NOT BY PULLING THE WIRE, BUT BY PULLING THE CAP.
And then you will see a spark plug.
Once you have found one you will be able to see the other five, three on each side.

Q: I have a 2004 Kia Sorento and I cant figure out how to remove the drive belts ac and power-steering?
I have a 2004 Kia Sorento and for the life of me I cant figure out how to remove the drive belts (ac,power-steering belts)? After screwing the tensioner screw up and down for hours still not loosing up. Please help not sure if you have to loosen other belts in order to get one of them off.
A: have to loosen the mounting brackets so power steering unit will pivot. any auto parts store employee can show you or buy a repair manual for about $20
Q: Best way to install subs into a 2007 Kia Sorento?
I have a 2007 Kia Sorento, and want to install two subs (either 12 or 15 not sure yet). Problem is, the hatch in the back has the tools i need to change the tires so i’m afraid if i put all of it back there i won’t be able to reach the tools. Is there any suggestions on how i could possibly do this?
Well, i do have 4 speakers and 2 tweeters that have a decent amount of bass, but i would be nice to have that extra.
A: If you want to preserve all of the cargo space with and without the seats stowed, you might consider a “shallow mount” subwoofer under one of the front seats and the amp under the other one.
This enclosure is for Pioneer shallow subs but will work with many others.

Q: Should i get a new 2011 kia sorento or an old model of the bmw x5 2001-06?
My uncles getting me a car this summer and i want either of these two cars. I love the kia sorento. My friend let me drive it and it was boss and a car like that should cost way more. But, the bmw x5 is……well i a bmw. Please don’t be a douche and suggest any other cars. Just these two.

Q: 05 kia sorento cooling fan will not shut off and runs down the battery?
It is not running hot, coolant is fine, the fan keeps running and drains my battery. Any Ideas?
A: Are you sure it doesn’t run a while then cut off^? Some vehicles do this. You battery is over 5 years old and could be the problem. Stop by an auto parts store and have it tested. Most will do this free.

I usually keep the vehicle in 2WD and use 4WD only a few times per year. So can I have two Michelin tires in the back and two Wild Country brand tires in the front. They are all the same size. Will it ruin the car?
A: No. Brand shouldn’t matter, as long as they’re the same size they will be fine. They could even be a size or 2 different as long as they werent on the same axel good luck

The transmission is leaking, regardless of the amount of fluid in the transmission. I have devised a way to keep the fluid from dripping onto the exhaust manifold, and added another cooler, but no luck.
A: Is it “burping” out the top “fill” hole of the filler tube? If yes—-
A: Make sure it isnt Overfull. Overfull transmissions will vent out fluid through filler tube.
B: Make sure your transmission vent is properly ran and not blocked off. A glogged?plugged vent will cause fluid to go out the next path of least resistance, which would be your filler tube.

A: Strictly up to you I guess. Your age would matter too. If you are 30, you will probably think the same in a few years. If you’re 13 you will have changed your thought patterns a lot in a few years.

Like for instance, should the heater be on or off and should the engine be warm first or cold etc.
A: Do it when its cold and fill it up to the cold line on the reservioir, run the car, when its warm, if it doesnt reach the warm mark, fill it up to the warm mark. all in all it doesnt really matter, as long as its somewhere in between both lines

Comments on this vehicle? I have been leaning towards the chevy trailblazer, but the KIA Sorento’s are cute. I only have $8000 to spend and need to get 200,000 miles out it. Most of the SUV’s in my price category already have close to 100,000 miles? So do you own or like the KIA sorento?

A: According to Consumer Reports, the Chevy Trailblazer has a much better reliability record than the KIA Sorento over the past five years. The ‘06 and ‘07 ‘Blazer (6-cyl) were fairly good in all respects. If you want real quality and reliability, however, you should try to find a well-looked-after 4-cylinder Subaru Forester, Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V or MItsubishi Outlander. As used vehicles (‘02-’08) CR rates the first three as much better than average, and the Outlander as better than average. The Trailblazers got only an average rating, and the Sorento rated worse than average. Good luck. (I love my 1996 Honda!)

A: The evaporator core is located behind the dashboard.
In order to remove it you would have to completely remove the dash from the vehicle. This is a labor intensive job.
Q: How many people does the V6 KIA Sorento seat?
Maybe I wasn’t looking in the right place, but I can’t find out on their website. Also, how many rows of seats???
A: The Sorento seats 7 but I doubt it would be comfortable since the middle bench looks rather cramped in the middle. But none the less it has seat belts for 7 occupants.
