but to answer your question….iether an h2b (h22/h23/f20b/f22/f23 motor mated to a b series tranny) set up or k20 or k24frank (k24 block mated with a k20 head)
k20a complete swap look at about 6-8 grand and thats stock trim…
k24 blocks are not much but good luck finding a k20 head for cheap..
h22 look around 1500 plus mounts, build it, resleave the block to remove the frm stock sleeves, crower 2.5l stroker kit look at bout 2500…the turbo im using is a gt3582r and just the turbo alone ran me about 1700 bucks, then there all the tuning time, addition parts machine time for the block and so on and so on..
soo youll find out real quick that it adds up to just an ass load of money you stick into them…..but itll never be the fastest no matter what you do. theres always someone out there with a fast car than your…. besides that you have to kinda balance performance….and traction since the eg is light…plus adding power….those two really dont like eachother real well. example….if i break boost my 95 in third at 60….ill light the tires up when i let off the brake plus burn half through 4th. you have to balance power, traction and handeling all at the same time…..

and your logic fails horriblely. lets see. i own a b18a1 in my 90 integra gs and all i have is a k&n cold air intake, dc sport 4-2-1 piece headers, stock cat 2.5″ straight pipes and a greddy muffler. ngk spark plugs and wires, and thats way under $1,000. i topped her out at 140 with no problems.thats not power? thats nearly stock.
any b series motors are something to work with “out of the box” so learn your facts before you start to bad mouth people. it only makes you look mental.

I just bought a 2001 Honda Civic today and it didn’t come with a keyless entry remote which is something I really need.
If I get a remote meant for my car and program it will my car recognize it? I have power windows. Please give me some info on this please!
A: Not unless it had keyless entry before and you just lost the remote. More likely, it never had keyless entry (it wasn’t standard on all 2001 civics) so you will have to buy a keyless entry system and have a professional install it as it requires running a bunch of wires and programming the remote to a reiciever as well. Most local alarm shops will do keyless entry only for about $100 installed.

I naturally drive with my seat tilted farther back than it should, but… i need some head support. Ours is a really popular dealer in a big town, and under the MSRP on their internet prices.
You can subscribe to consumer reports real car prices. I think it’s about $20 for six weeks, and will give you the true cost dealers in your area pay for ANY vehicle. This is a fantastic tool to take into the dealership with you.

Q: Install an XM Satellite Radio on my 2008 Honda Civic DX and need to find the antenna. Not visible?
I purchased an Xpress XM device, and the instructions are asking for me to hook the XM antenna to the vehicle’s FM antenna. I walked around my vehicle and cannot locate the antenna. I looked in the rear and the antenna is not visible. If there is a method to install this device utilizing the AUX, that would be much easier for me, perhaps. I have a Honda Civic DX.
A: Your antenna is built into the glass of the vehicle. The connection to the FM antenna is in the back of the in-dash radio.
You shouldn’t need to worry about the antenna. I believe the Xpress XM device transmits to your radio over a frequency that you select. For instance, you might select 88.1 on your XM device and also on your radio. The device would be heard over your radio by transmitting on that frequency.

I have a 1994 Honda Civic and the trunk release lever on the floor is locked so we cannot use the trunk release. I tried the master key but it doesnt even turn. Can anyone help me unlock the trunk release lever?
A: what you need to do is remove the floor lever. it has one screw,take the cover. it has a cable and pull it forward with plier. that should work because it worked for me.
